Ferral 50 years

Homero Armando Xavier Gomes founded Ferral in 1959. The initial idea was to produce aluminum frames, which was then a novelty in the market.

However, the product manufacturing with aluminum did not last even a year and the company began to focus on steel, specializing in steel structures. His main clients were Vale do Rio Doce Company and Aracruz Celulose, for which Ferral provided mats for loading ore.

- Ferral has participated in TUPI project, the largest reserve of oil and gas already discovered in Brazil, providing to our customer Technip following equipments: MECHANICAL SUPPORTS FREE SPAN; SPREADER BARS, DELTA PLATES and CLAMPS, as well as supports for JUMPERS and SPOOLS.

- In 2010 Ferral also participated in another very important project in the oil & gas industry: the Uruguá-Tambaú project will connect the production unit to MEXILHÃO Platform (PMXL-1), in the Campos Basin. The Ferral provided to our customer Subsea 7 various equipment Pig Laucher and Receiver RLP sizes 10 " and 12 ".
